Who Needs Daisuke?

...when Brian's in the game, that is.

Saturday, Sydney and I watched as Brian and some fellow US Navy Hospital staff members played two friendly games of baseball against some Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) doctors. With a true spirit of camaraderie, each team won one game.

"El Guapo" is now playing in Japan

Do you know what a plethora is?

You callin' me "El Guapo?!"

You know, this is a PG site and I'd prefer it if you old roommates would keep your little pet names for each other private.

Chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip-chip... LONNEEEEEEEE!

Farley-farley-farley-farley-farley-farley... Hafurrrrrrr...

Dude.....like....what did you just say?!

Curtis, wiki says "El Guapo" now plays in the minors for the Nashua Pride.

Oh come on, how many times do I have to reference the same classic movie...

My little Buttercup has the sweetest smile/
Dear little Buttercup, won't you stay a while?/
We'll settle down together in a cottage built for two/
Oh, Dear little Buttercup, I love you!

Thanks for the "Three Amigos" quotes Dave. But what are you really trying to say...

Anonymous said...

I don't know what to say about Dave's comments but at least he didn't break any of the rules.

I've left C speachless... awesome!

(And I didn't break the rules.)

So all that's left to say is...

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!

That's beautiful Dave. Really.

I think its time to end the comments on this post. Course we don't have another blog post to comment on... so if you have something to say other than "Three Amigo" quotes, well then you are welcome to leave another comment.

Ouch...when did B get so mean.

As I am not allowed to post movie quotes lets open a discussion on when B sharpened up his teeth as a new thread to comment on.

Just kidding, love you B (in a platonic, friendly non old roommate kinda way).

Dave, I'm disturbed by the connotation behind your "roomates" comments. Just because you were "roommates" with you future wife for several years before you got married, it doesn't mean that all roommates have that kind of relationship!

Was that too mean for you?!

Love ya too Dave! :P

Um, no, not mean.

Not mean at all.

I take it back.

Same teeth. Not mean. Good 'ole B.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

So was everyone watching that game? I'm not really into sports that much, but I could tell that was a pretty good game for the Sox, or maybe just bad playing for the rockies. I guess it was all over after that first goal they got. I could pretty much hear the people in Denver crying from over here in New Mexico.

Goal?

You really are not much of a sports guy, Ezra.

And this is coming from a guy who really isn't much into sports either.

But, yes, it was a slaughter. Tonights game is much closer. At least as we are heading into the 9th on this day of Curtis' birth.

By the way, Ezra, you are totally awesome for posting. We need to have more people participating. Diane and B seem to put a lot of work into this thing. Keep them posts coming!

WOW! "Totally Awesome". I was shooting for 60-70%, but "totally". They always say strive for the best. I didn't know I had it in me. Thanks Dave! And speaking of the best, how bout those Sox! 110% there.
